Job summary

Active Staff are partnering with an electronics manufacturing business in Andover to recruit an experienced Wiring Technician. You will carry out wiring on electronic assemblies, working from detailed drawings and testing completed units.

The role requires independence, careful workmanship and the ability to support quality and manufacturing with recommended procedure improvements. The position offers a stable, permanent, full-time role with benefits and on-site working Monday to Friday, in a

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience within the sector.
• Excellent soldering and workmanship standards.
• Knowledge of wiring, crimping and looming.
• Ability to work to electronics engineering drawings.
• Good organisational and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Wiring on electronic assemblies
• Work to detailed electronic drawings to company standard
• Inspect and test completed assemblies
• Cut, strip and terminate wires to connectors and electrical units
• Work on own initiative independently
• Work on prototype wiring, crimping and soldering
• Notify on any errors on procedures, drawings, BOM and routes to support quality/manufacturing

Job description

Active Staff are proud to be working with an innovative Electronics Manufacturing business in Andover. They are looking to bolster the team with an experienced Wiring Technician that has a background in Electrical assembly. You will be joining a truly fantastic company who have very little staff turnover and a company who really invests in their staff.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 17:00pm and Friday 8:45am - 15:00pm.

The role of the Wiring Technician:

• Carry out Wiring on electronic assemblies
