Rolls-Royce Measurement & Test Engineering is recruiting Electrical Design Engineers to support the expansion and maintenance of its global gas turbine engine test facilities. The role is based in Derby/Bristol with hybrid working (min 3 days in office, Derby).

You will join the Technical Authority for Aerospace Engine Test Facilities, handling diverse projects from new ground-based test facilities to modifications of current test rigs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with suitable experience.
• Experience in a project environment.
• Experience in preparing and delivering technical reports and documents.
• Experience in developing, testing and evaluating engineering designs.

Responsabilités

• Capture requirements and write specifications.
• Develop electrical engineering designs and calculations.
• Develop concepts from requirements to detailed designs.
• Oversee manufacture, installation, inspection and testing of designs.
• Work with CAD/definition engineering team and provide design monitoring oversight.
• Chair or support design reviews and peer approvals.
• Develop verification schedules and assist with acceptance testing procedures.
