Job summary

The Royal Aeronautical Society is seeking an experienced Programme Manager – Education & Outreach to lead a diverse portfolio of education, careers and STEM engagement programmes. You will manage 운영 plans and budgets while delivering high-profile outreach across the UK.

Reporting to the Head of Education, Skills & Diversity, you will oversee programme delivery, stakeholder engagement and volunteer coordination to inspire the next generation of aerospace professionals.

Qualifications

Experience delivering education or outreach programmes.
Ability to manage budgets and resources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of safeguarding when working with young people.
Background in aerospace, engineering, STEM or education sectors.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of education, outreach and careers programmes across the Society.
Manage programme plans, timelines and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to a high standard.
Identify opportunities to enhance impact and audience reach.
Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, schools and community organisations.
Coordinate sponsorship and external engagement; represent the Society at events.
Line manage staff and volunteers; foster a collaborative team culture.
Oversee events, careers fairs, STEM activities and major outreach programmes.
Monitor, evaluate and report on programme results; support continuous improvement.
