Job summary

CBSbutler is recruiting a Product Safety Digital Solution Expert for Reading, UK, in a hybrid, 12-month role. The position focuses on defining and developing digital engineering solutions that enable Product and System Safety across complex aerospace and defence programmes.

You will translate safety needs into digital workflows, data models, tool integrations, and proofs‑of‑concepts, collaborating with Safety and Engineering stakeholders to validate and deploy innovative digital solutions that

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Product Safety, System Safety or Safety Engineering.
Experience in safety-critical engineering programmes.
Ability to translate engineering needs into digital solutions and workflows.
Knowledge of ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178C.
Experience with safety tool integrations into toolchains.

Responsibilities

Capture and analyse Product Safety needs and translate into digital solutions.
Define digital workflows for safety analyses, requirements, and evidence.
Support design and implementation of safety engineering tools (e.g., Ansys Medini).
Define integration and traceability between safety analyses, requirements, models and verification information.
Support integration of Product Safety with MBSE, Requirements Management and PLM environments.
Develop proofs-of-concept and pilots for Digital Safety Engineering solutions.
Collaborate with Safety and Engineering stakeholders to validate and deploy digital solutions.
Contribute to digital standards, processes and governance for Product Safety.
