Select Talent Group (STG) is partnering with a leading contract manufacturing business to appoint a senior Sales Director to drive growth in Aerospace & Defence. The role is market-facing, owning new-business activity and building long-term partnerships with OEMs, Tier 1s and primes.

You will be a senior contributor, advocating for the business, shaping customer solutions, and representing STG and the client at industry events and conferences across the UK.

Qualifikationen

• Proven sales or business development leadership in Aerospace & Defence.
• Strong network across OEMs, Tier 1, primes and defence supply chain.
• Deep understanding of procurement routes, programmes and decision makers.
• Experience selling manufacturing, engineering or supply chain solutions into the sector.
• Track record of opening new relationships and converting them into revenue.
• Credibility to engage senior procurement, engineering and operations stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-starting and market-visible.
• Security Clearance eligibility advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Lead new-business development across Aerospace & Defence from first engagement to long-term contract wins.
• Build relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, primes and wider stakeholders.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline through your network, outreach, events and market intelligence.
• Introduce the business’s manufacturing, supply-chain and specialist capabilities to customers.
• Work with engineering, operations, quality and internal sales teams to shape customer solutions.
• Mentor and positively influence colleagues without formal line-management.
• Represent the business at meetings, industry events and conferences.
