Job summary

Safran Seats is seeking a Configuration Manager in the UK (Maidstone area) to lead the Configuration Management System across product lifecycles. You will own the engineering change control process and drive standardisation in line with group processes and regulatory requirements.

You will produce CM data, reports, and KPI measures while partnering with Change and Programme Management teams to embed configuration control throughout programme delivery.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
CMII Level 6 certification is preferred.
Experience with configuration management and PLM systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and continuously improve the CMS across product lifecycles.
Own the engineering change control process and Manage Change Control Boards (CCBs).
Standardise configuration and engineering change practices with group processes.
Produce and maintain CM data and reports for programmes and projects.
Assess changes in business, customer and industry requirements and drive improvements.
Collaborate with Change and Programme Management teams to embed configuration control.
