Job summary

Line Up Aviation seeks a Composites Technician for a permanent role at Harwell, Oxfordshire. You will manufacture fibre-based components, process layups and curing methods, and assist in tooling, MAPs, and MAIT tasks. Flexibility for schedule variations is expected.

Must have strong engineering discipline, experience with composites, and ability to work with detailed drawings and tolerances. Aerospace context and ECSS awareness are desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong discipline in engineering with experience assembling precision components.
• Demonstrable practical experience in composites manufacturing and MAIT.
• Understanding of detailed drawings, finishes and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture carbon, glass and aramid fibre components.
• Layup, resin impregnation, VARTM or autoclave curing with finishing.
• Manufacture tooling/moulds using epoxy or foam materials.
• Support MAIT activities and project reviews; assist in MAPs and test procedures.
• Assist in facility management and supplier/sub-contractor visits.
