Corriculo Ltd is seeking a Composites Technician for its space and aerospace-focused engineering environment. You will produce carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid components from layup through cure and finish, working within Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing.

You will also manufacture tooling and patterns, draft manufacturing procedures, and support facility management and supplier/customer reviews. Flexibility in hours to meet project schedules is expected.

Qualifications

• Solid practical experience in composites manufacturing, covering layup, resin impregnation, and curing processes such as VARTM or autoclave.
• Confident reading of detailed engineering drawings, tolerances, surface finishes and material specs, with ability to follow assembly procedures.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and propose improvements.
• Eligibility to obtain UK BPSS clearance; space/aerospace sector experience is a plus.

The Role

The Composites Technician will sit within a Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team, taking responsibility for the hands-on production of carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid fibre components from layup through to cure and finishing. You will also manufacture tooling, moulds, and patterns using materials such as epoxy and foam, and contribute to the assembly of both research and space flight hardware. Day to day, the Composites Technician will help draft and refine Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, support facility management, and engage with supplier and customer reviews as needed. Flexibility around working hours to meet project schedules is part of the role.

What experience does the Composites Technician need?

• Solid practical experience in composites manufacturing, covering layup, resin impregnation, and curing processes such as VARTM or autoclave, along with the ability to carry out trimming and finishing activities
• Confident reading detailed engineering drawings, understanding tolerances, surface finishes, and material specifications, combined with experience following formal assembly procedures
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and propose process improvements where appropriate
• Eligibility to obtain UK Government BPSS clearance; experience in the space or aerospace sector and familiarity with autoclave programming would be a distinct advantage
