Job summary

MERITUS is recruiting a Composite Operative for a client in the aerospace manufacturing sector at their Belfast site. The contract is for 12 months and requires BPSS+ clearance and a pre-employment medical before starting.

The role operates onsite in Belfast on a 36-hour week with a 39.5% shift premium. You will manufacture composite components by following defined processes, reading work instructions and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Able to follow defined manufacturing processes and instructions.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
• NVQ Level 2 in manufacturing/engineering is advantageous.
• Prior manual handling training is beneficial.
• Commitment to safety, quality and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Produce composite components using defined processes and materials.
• Read and follow work instructions accurately.
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with safety standards.
• Support additional shifts or overtime when required.
