Job summary

Airbus, supported by Guidant Global, is hiring a Composite Operative in Belfast. The role focuses on manufacturing aerospace composite components to exacting standards, with 36 hours per week across shifts and a 12-month initial contract with potential extension.

Ideal candidates will have prior manufacturing or warehouse experience, be able to work independently and in teams, and possess basic computer literacy. BPSS+ clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in a production setting.
• Warehouse or production experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Produce composite components following defined processes and quality requirements.
• Use supplied materials and tooling with detailed work instructions.
• Prepare, cut, and lay up materials for autoclave curing.
• Carry out finishing on cured components and tooling.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment at all times.
• Read and understand work instructions and production docs.
• Work across shift patterns and complete overtime when required.
