Job summary

Teledyne CML Composites, based in Bromborough, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement New Products and improvements in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. The role requires delivering production solutions, balancing efficiency with quality, and supporting NPI initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in composites, experience in aerospace or regulated engineering, and the ability to work both in teams and on solo projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in aerospace or other regulated engineering environments.
• Degree/HNC Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience with continuous improvement techniques.
• Computer literate (MS Office proficient).

Responsibilities

• Interrogate product design data / specifications to develop methods of manufacture and tooling philosophies for the manufacture of composite components.
• Compile accurate process plans, labour breakdown, Bill of materials and tooling solutions to enable accurate estimates and bid proposals to be produced.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Work Instructions, shop orders and Bills of materials.
• Lead / assist with the resolution of day to day production issues.
• Support RCCA activity using structured problem solving techniques (e.g. 8d).
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes.
• Support daily operations meetings
• Lead and support continuous Improvement / margin enhancement projects
