Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Production Worker, CNC Turner, for a weekend night shift in Yeovil. You will operate turning on 2-axis lathes and interpret drawings to produce aerospace components to tight specifications.

Ideal candidates have CNC turning experience (or strong manual turning), basic hand-tool skills, and a clear commitment to health and safety. Hours are 36 per week Fri–Sun, 19:00–07:00, with £16.13–£24.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Solid CNC turning experience or strong manual turning background.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow instructions.
• Commitment to health and safety and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• CNC turning on 2-axis lathes, setting and running bespoke work from start to finish
• Interpreting drawings and following manufacturing instructions and documentation
• Producing parts to aerospace specifications and regulator requirements
• Operating OCQ to confirm assemblies meet Honeywell and customer standards
• Working to complete work on time and to the required standard
• Adhering to lean practices and contributing to continuous improvement
