Job summary

HR GO Recruitment seeks an experienced CNC Turner to set, program and operate Mazak/Fanuc lathes for low-volume aerospace parts. You will interpret complex drawings, prove out tooling, and maintain tight tolerances in a small batch environment.

The role emphasizes online programming, offset adjustments and basic inspection, with collaboration across engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges. A strong aerospace background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a high-precision, low-volume aerospace environment.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and develop machining strategies.
• Experience with Mazak/Mazatrol and Fanuc controls; live tooling is a plus.
• Apprentice-trained background is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set, prove out and operate CNC lathes to produce low-volume aerospace parts.
• Program online and set offsets, verify with basic inspection.
• Interpret drawings and develop machining strategies.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
