Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd. seeks an experienced CNC Miller to join a Southend-on-Sea aerospace supplier. You will program, set and operate Bridgeport/Heidenhain and Haas/Fanuc milling machines to produce aerospace components from aluminium, stainless steel and Inconel.

Applicants should have demonstrable aerospace manufacturing experience, strong interpretation of drawings, and a commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork and continuous improvement mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing to aerospace quality standards.
• Proven ability to program, set up and operate CNC mills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong inspection and measurement skills with precision focus.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC mills using Bridgeport/Heidenhain and Haas/Fanuc.
• Manufacture aerospace components from aluminium, stainless steel and Inconel.
• Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Maintain machine efficiency to meet KPIs and on-time delivery.
