Gregory Martin International Limited is seeking a CNC Miller Setter Operator near Southend-on-Sea in Essex. The role focuses on setting and running 1st operations on CNC Mills with 3-4 axis control, including HAAS and Bridgeport, while incorporating programming capabilities.

You will work with aerospace-grade components, interpret drawings, and ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery with a strong emphasis on precision and safety.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of aerospace standards.
Programme, set and run Mills (including HAAS and Bridgeport).
Desirable: Run, Set 1st and 2nd Ops machining tools.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong measurement skills using varied tooling.
Team Player and communicate with colleagues to ensure the implementation of the company’s policies and goals.
Attention to detail, including numeracy, and quality performance.

Responsibilities

Set and run 1st operations CNC Mills using 3-4 axis machines.
Program, set and run 2nd operation machinery as needed.
Interpret drawings and ensure parts meet tolerances and quality standards.
Maintain machine efficiency to support on-time deliveries and KPI targets.
