Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician in Bristol to join a thriving aerospace-focused engineering team. You will perform aerospace assembly and fitting per drawings, using hand tools and measuring equipment, while maintaining traceability and quality records.

The role requires experience with mechanical assembly or fitting, familiarity with engineering drawings, and capability to use precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly or fitting experience required.
• Familiar with engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment.
• Aerospace environment preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out aerospace assembly and fitting per drawings and instructions.
• Use hand tools, measuring equipment and fixtures to assemble components.
• Maintain traceability and complete production and quality documentation.
• Identify non-conforming parts and raise issues per company process.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and observe TPM and H&S procedures.
• Support colleagues to maximise output while ensuring quality.
