Job summary

MBDA is seeking an Aerodynamics Engineer in Bristol to work on challenging defence programmes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across System Design, Propulsion, and Mechanical Engineering, taking concepts from development through in-service integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in aerodynamics, preferably in defence/aerospace.
• Expertise in applying simulation tools or undertaking physical testing.
• Excellent collaborative skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and innovatively to solve aerodynamic challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with or lead teams to develop innovative aerodynamic concepts.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, contributing to a supportive team culture.
• Support the development of in-house analysis tools.
• Collaborate with external organisations, including MoD, other aerospace companies, and academia.
