Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking an Aerodynamics Engineer to join the Aerodynamics team, delivering cutting-edge defence programmes from concept through to in-service integration across multiple platforms. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across System Design, Propulsion and Mechanical Engineering, applying CFD tools and in-house analyses, with wind tunnel testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Proven aerodynamics experience within defence or aerospace.
• Experience applying simulation tools or physical testing.
• Strong collaboration and communication in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with or lead teams to develop innovative aerodynamic concepts.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, contributing to a supportive team culture.
• Support the development of in-house analysis tools.
• Collaborate with external organisations including MoD, other aerospace companies, and academia.
