Job summary

Audi Revolut F1 Team is seeking an experienced Aero Software Developer to join the high-performance data team at the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester. You will develop, optimize and deploy software for aerodynamic analysis, focusing on CFD data, desktop/web apps and data visualization.

Responsibilities include building efficient workflows, backend enhancements, and collaboration with aerodynamic engineers to make complex data accessible and actionable. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Proven programming skills with Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with data organization and repository creation using databases and files.
• Familiar with Linux environments and software release/deployment techniques.
• Strong knowledge of PyQt and deployment to Windows/Linux.
• Experience with Django, VTK/ParaView/PyVista and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with HPC environments and scientific data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create and improve software for aerodynamic analysis.
• Design and implement desktop and web apps to present CFD data.
• Enhance back-end to process and serve CFD data.
• Build workflows for CFD post-processing.
• Collaborate with aerodynamic engineers to simplify data interpretation.
• Contribute to data visualization and user interface improvements.
• Develop data access tools and APIs for integration.
• Code, test, release and maintain data analysis applications.
