Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team is offering a one-year Aero Development Tools Student Placement in Enstone. You will support the creation and enhancement of software tools for aerodynamic development, collaborating with CFD engineers and software developers to keep workflows efficient and aligned with engineering needs.

The role targets penultimate-year students in Computer Science or Motorsport Engineering, with strong programming and data-visualisation skills.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of university
• Solid programming skills required
• Familiarity with aerodynamic workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining internal software tools for aerodynamic analysis
• Support automation of data processing and visualisation workflows
• Help validate tool outputs and improve usability based on user feedback
• Contribute to documentation and training materials for tool users
• Collaborate with aerodynamic and performance teams to ensure tools meet development requirements
