Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering an Aero Development Tools student placement in Enstone for 1 year, starting July 2027. You will develop and maintain internal software tools used in aerodynamic development and collaborate with CFD engineers and software teams.

You should be a penultimate-year student in a STEM field, with strong programming skills and an interest in motorsport. On-site assessment is planned for September at our Enstone facility.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or Motorsport Engineering and in your penultimate year
• Strong programming skills
• Understanding of aerodynamic principles and CFD/workflow is beneficial
• Experience with data visualization and software development tools
• Must have the right to work in the UK; no sponsorship
• Available to attend onsite assessment centre in September

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining internal software tools for aerodynamic analysis
• Support automation of data processing and visualization workflows
• Help validate tool outputs and improve usability based on user feedback
• Contribute to documentation and training materials for tool users
• Collaborate with aerodynamic and performance teams to meet development requirements
