Your new company
Our client is a well-regarded claimant firm with offices across the North of England. They are currently recruiting for an Advocate Solicitor/Barrister to join their Merseyside office.
Your new role
This Advocate Solicitor/Barrister position will see you provide advocacy on behalf of the firm's legal departments. This will include Stage 3 hearings, Infant Settlement hearings, CMCs, CCMCs, and Directions hearings at a range of county courts across Merseyside. All advocacy will be within RTA, including advocacy for hearings involving catastrophic injury. You will be involved in expanding the firm's advocacy services to attract new clients. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of advocacy training to trainee solicitors.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified solicitor/barrister. Civil Higher Rights of Audience is not essential but preferable. Applicants must have strong claimant RTA experience and a solid understanding of the OIC portal. Ideal applicants will currently be Solicitor Advocates or Barristers, but the firm is open to solicitors who conduct a significant amount of their own advocacy. Successful applicants will be confident and have an excellent understanding of CPR.
