What you will do
We understand that engaging, challenging drafting and court work is hard to find before pupillage. Few employed opportunities offer supervision and training from barristers, proximity to clients, and daily courtroom advocacy exposure. This role provides all that and more.
- Initially, your role will involve a tailored training program to familiarize you with procedures, law, and tactics relevant to county court work, followed by a shadowing period learning from experienced team members through drafting, case preparation, and attendance, with reporting back on cases.
- Once signed off, you will undertake drafting, advisory, and court work under supervision, supported by a network guiding your confidence and skills in handling instructions.
- After approximately six months, we expect your active engagement across our work, gaining familiarity with daily operations. Depending on your rights of audience, there is scope to develop the complexity and scope of your work.

We seek individuals pursuing a career at the Bar, passionate about advocacy. Specifically:
- You must have completed both an LLB (or equivalent) and the BPTC (or equivalent).
While not required, we welcome candidates with:

- A comprehensive remuneration package, including private medical insurance, income protection, and discounted gym memberships among other benefits
