Job summary

Outwood Academy Freeston in Normanton, Wakefield, is seeking an Advanced Teaching Assistant to support student achievement across all learning platforms. The role includes delivering targeted 1:1 and small group interventions, both in person and online.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver targeted ELSA support and interventions.
• Experience supporting students with SEND, EAL or gifted/talented status.
• Willingness to undertake ELSA training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Emotional Literacy Support to individuals and small groups.
• Monitor pupil progress and update development plans.
• Support class teachers with learning activities, both offline and online.
• Contribute to behaviour and welfare strategies.
