Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate, and talented Advanced Support Workers to work within a service supporting two people. The service supports individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their choices, wellbeing, and independence. As an Advanced Support Worker, you will need to be adaptable, a team player, and passionate about supporting others. Shifts are from 7.30am - 3pm, 2.30pm - 10pm, and waking night 10pm - 7.30am.
Your values:
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, autism, sensory communication, and physical health. If you do not have a qualification, experience in social care is required.
You should be able to connect with people, support independence, and share your skills with colleagues. We will develop your talents through specialist training, including Positive Behaviour Support, Makaton, and the Picture Exchange System.
During recruitment, you will meet the people we support in their homes to understand their personalities and support needs.
