Advanced Speech and Language Therapist - Outpatients
London, The Portland Hospital
Full time: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 18.75 hour per week
Permanent / Part Time
£Competitive salary dependent on experience
We’re looking for an Advanced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Speech and Language Therapy team at The Portland Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC and home to the largest private hospital-based rehabilitation centre in the UK.
Our specialist paediatric, maternity and women's health units are staffed by experienced consultants and nursing staff, all of whom have access to advanced medical technology and help ensure a positive patient experience for those who visit us.
As an Advanced Speech and Language Therapist you will have a proven track record of working with children who have complex needs.

What you’ll bring:
Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
Registered member of HCPC
At least 5 years experience of working within paediatrics and complex needs such as autism and TBI.
ADOS trained or willing to undergo training
Experience of MDT working
Providing supervision to B6 outpatient SLT
Support SLT lead in managing outpatient service and oversee day to day running of outpatient clinic
Ideally experience of working with bilingual families and with interpreters and willing to see inpatients when required
