Advanced Social Worker - Family Safeguarding Team
Salary: £46,399 - £49,588 per annum (+ £6,000 Welcome Bonus, £5,000 Market Supplement and Relocation Allowance up to £8,000)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Advanced Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team across Surrey. In this exciting role, you will work with vulnerable young people and families, providing a vital service while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
You'll be part of a forward-thinking team with a strong emphasis on training, development, and career progression. We support hybrid working, with a minimum expectation of working in the office at least two days per week, and additional visits to clients as required.

About the Role
As an Advanced Social Worker within the Family Safeguarding Team, you will take on complex case management, undertake safeguarding assessments, conduct Care Act assessments, and lead Mental Capacity Assessments. You will be responsible for providing supervision to junior staff, offering reflective practice, and mentoring social work students. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to the development of best practice by supporting and facilitating case discussions and team training.
Your role will also include collaborating with other professionals, including safeguarding teams, schools, and other agencies, to ensure that we provide a holistic approach to supporting adolescents and their families.
You will use your expertise to work effectively within a strength-based framework and will ensure that the voices of children and families are central to all decision-making.
