Sanctuary Personnel - Advanced Social Worker (Edge of Care Team)

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and dedicated recruitment agency, has a new permanent position for an Advanced Social Worker within the Edge of Care Team, based in Horsham.

The salary for this full-time role is up to £49,696 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a complex caseload involving individuals, children, carers, and families requiring support and guidance.
2. Make confident and effective judgments regarding risk and accountability, maintaining engagement in fluctuating circumstances, including hostility and risk.
3. Conduct discerning assessment procedures to respond to presenting needs, ensuring proportionate assessments that promote maximum participation.
4. Employ professional judgment and a range of interventions to promote independence, provide support and protection, and balance rights and risks.
5. Lead positive interventions to prevent deterioration in health and wellbeing, safeguarding those at risk of abuse or neglect.
6. Undertake assessments and planning for safeguarding in complex cases, supporting colleagues using safeguarding skills aligned with current policies.
7. Contribute to practice development, promote a positive culture, and mentor less experienced staff.
8. Deliver professional reflective supervision and guide less experienced staff on casework.
9. Serve as a practice educator or ASYE assessor/supervisor as required, supporting professional development.
10. Maintain accurate case records and ensure data protection policies are followed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A recognised Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
• Understanding of relevant legislation.
• Registration with Social Work England.
