Job summary

Worcestershire County Council is seeking an Advanced Social Work Practitioner for the Redditch and Wychavon Families First District Team. The post offers a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, and a salary of £42,839 to £46,142 per annum plus £4,000 market forces, with location at Downsell Road.

You must have a social work qualification and sufficient experience. An ASWP will lead on specific work, support the leadership team, and participate in a duty system of one week on and three weeks

Qualifications

• Must have a social work qualification and sufficient experience.
• Advanced Social Work Practitioner will lead on specific pieces of work and act as team champion.
• DBS check required prior to confirmation.

Responsibilities

• Lead on specific pieces of work or act as team champion within the District Team.
• Support the leadership/management team of the District and oversee duties within the ASWP role.
• Work one week on and three weeks off under the duty system, subject to coverage.
