Job summary

University College London Hospital is hiring an Advanced Practise Therapeutic Radiographer – Pre-Treatment to join the pre-treatment team across radiotherapy and proton beam therapy. You will promote best practice, lead in radiography pre-treatment and work with CT, MRI and PET-CT planning to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will gain skills in breast simulation and MRI scanning while expanding your knowledge of proton and photon planning within a dedicated and safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver complex radiotherapy pre-treatment procedures.
• Capacity to interpret and acquire high-quality pre-treatment images (CT/MRI/PET-CT).
• Ability to lead in a patient-centred service and apply advanced practice in radiography.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex radiotherapy pre-treatment procedures with high accuracy.
• Lead and support the pre-treatment workflow across photon and proton planning.
• Obtain informed consent and communicate complex information to patients and families.
