Job summary

Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership is recruiting an Advanced Practitioner Social Worker to join the Prison Social Work Team at HMP & YOI Polmont.

You will carry a complex caseload, apply professional judgement, lead practice within the team, contribute to learning, quality improvement and service development, and ensure high standards of professional practice in Justice Social Work.

Qualifications

• Essential: Social Work Diploma or degree
• Experience of statutory social work within Justice Services
• PVG scheme membership required
• SSSC registration required
• NPPV Level 2 clearance required

Responsibilities

• Carry a complex caseload with risk assessment and risk management
• Provide professional leadership within the team and support practitioners
• Contribute to practice learning, quality improvement and service development
• Promote high standards of professional practice across Justice Social Work Services
