Job description

As an Advanced Practitioner at our Client's Urgent Treatment Centre, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, timely care to patients with urgent medical needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries.
  • Making accurate diagnoses and formulating appropriate treatment plans.
  • Prescribing medications and treatments according to clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Qualifications:

  • Valid NMC/HCPC Registration
  • Minor Injury/Illness Level 6 Minimum
  • IRMER
  • Independent Prescriber (Desirable)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Urgent/Advanced Practitioner in an urgent care, emergency department, or primary care setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team

Shifts

  • Available 7 days a week, booking up to 3 months in advance - various patterns available including:
  • Mornings
  • Long Days
  • Afternoons/Evenings

This role is in scope of IR35, so payments via PAYE or Umbrella only
