University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is one of the largest teaching Trusts responsible for managing two major hospitals in Coventry and Rugby, serving a population of over one million people. We are the principal teaching hospital for Warwick Medical School and work in close cooperation and partnership to develop innovative programmes in clinical research.
We are looking for highly motivated and professional individuals with a flexible approach to working and a desire to further develop the ultrasound service. Previous applicants need not apply. The Imaging department is seeking an enthusiastic sonographer to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to train, mentor, and develop other staff to work to high standards.
The service covers both obstetric and general ultrasound departments as well as a variety of sub-specialties including MSK, paediatrics, vascular, and interventional. The ultrasound service is provided across 3 sites: University Hospital Coventry, Rugby St Cross, and the Coventry City Centre. The service will be expanding into the Community Diagnostic Centre with development planned for 2025.
