We currently have 16 Ultrasound machines at the New Cross Site and a further 4 new ultrasound rooms in the Community Diagnostic Centre in Cannock Chase Hospital.

You will work alongside an innovative team of professionals, performing a wide range of Ultrasound examinations including Obstetrics, Gynaecology, General Abdominal, MSK, and Vascular. Previous experience in these areas is desirable but not essential. We support development and training for radiographers interested in these specialties, with Annex 21 of Agenda for Change applying in such cases.

You must have a Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent qualification in Medical Ultrasound.

Hours will include weekends and Bank Holidays.

  • Perform scans independently to a high diagnostic standard, prioritize workload, and communicate results effectively to clinicians and patients.
  • Maintain professional standards, undertake CPD, and contribute to audits.
  • Train, supervise, and assess students, trainees, and clinicians in ultrasound.
