Job summary

Leaders in Care has partnered with a Greater Manchester local authority to recruit an Advanced Practitioner or Senior Social Worker to support Newly Qualified Social Workers completing their ASYE. This is a case-holding role with a reduced caseload to enable effective guidance and development, with hybrid working as standard.

The position is a six-month contract with immediate starts for suitable candidates, offering stability and the chance to gain leadership experience and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Advanced Practitioner/Senior Social Worker with leadership potential.
• Experience supporting Newly Qualified Social Workers through ASYE.
• Ability to work within a Greater Manchester local authority context.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop Newly Qualified Social Workers completing ASYE.
• Hold cases with reduced caseload to enable supervision and guidance.
• Lead and mentor junior colleagues and contribute to ongoing learning.

It is not often that Senior Social Workers are offered genuine progression opportunities through agency work.

We are looking for an established Advanced Practitioner, or an ambitious Senior Social Worker ready to take the next step, to support Newly Qualified Social Workers completing their ASYE within a Greater Manchester local authority.
