Job summary

Leaders in Care is assisting a Greater Manchester local authority to recruit an Advanced Practitioner or Senior Social Worker to mentor Newly Qualified Social Workers through their ASYE. This is a case-holding role with a reduced caseload to enable effective development and supervision.

The position offers hybrid working, a 6-month contract, and immediate starts for suitable candidates, with strong senior management support and ongoing learning to strengthen leadership profiles.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with HCPC registration.
• Experience supporting newly qualified social workers (ASYE).
• Ability to lead and develop junior staff and maintain caseloads.

It is not often that Senior Social Workers are offered genuine progression opportunities through agency work.
