Job summary

Mereside Medical is seeking a qualified Paramedic or Nurse to join the Advanced Practitioner team across our East Cambridgeshire group (Ely, Haddenham, Soham). You will provide care from history taking through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for urgent care patients.

Reporting to the Advanced Practitioner Lead Manager, you will work across our practices, support care homes, and help deliver NICE-guideline-based care with strong professional judgment and collaboration.

Qualifications

• A qualified Paramedic or Nurse with current registration.
• Minimum of two years post-registration experience.
• Experience in delivering community care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Triage urgent care requests to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions with evidence-based care.
• Support Lead GPs with routine reviews for patients in care homes.
• Collaborate with Mereside colleagues and local health services.
