Fixed Term - 12 Months

Are you an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner looking for an opportunity to help shape an innovative new model of primary care in one of Scotland’s most beautiful localities?

Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership is recruiting Advanced Practitioners to join the Primary Care Walk In Service, a 12-month fixed-term pilot based at Cowal Community Hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new, responsive service designed to improve access to care, support sustainable primary care provision and make a real difference for patients and communities in Cowal.

Working as part of a supportive and developing multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred assessment, treatment and care for people accessing rapid primary care support.

You will have the chance to use your advanced clinical skills, autonomous decision-making and professional leadership to help design, deliver and evaluate a service that responds directly to local need.

This role will suit a confident, compassionate and motivated practitioner who enjoys working at pace, building relationships across services and contributing to practical service redesign.

You will be supported to bring your expertise, ideas and professional judgement to a pilot that has the potential to inform future models of primary care across Argyll and Bute.

Applicants should be registered NMAHP professionals with advanced practice experience and a strong track record of delivering safe, effective and person-centred care.

A prescribing qualification would be highly desirable.

You should be comfortable working autonomously, managing clinical risk appropriately and contributing positively to multidisciplinary team working and service improvement.

We can offer flexibility, with full-time, part-time and job-share arrangements considered across 1.56 WTE.

If you are looking for a role where your clinical expertise can have visible impact, where you can help build something new, and where your work will directly benefit a rural community, we would be delighted to hear from you.
