Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an Advanced Practice Speech and Language Therapist based at West Road, Irvine. This permanent post supports children and young people within CAMHS neurodevelopmental services, delivering assessment and intervention.

You will lead and train colleagues, manage a highly complex caseload, and contribute to governance, audit and service development. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• HCPC registration to practise.
• Postgraduate education up to Masters level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert SLT assessment and intervention within CAMHS neurodevelopmental team.
• Manage a highly complex caseload with timely clinical decisions.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision and training to colleagues.
• Identify and manage clinical risk and contribute to governance.
• Lead service development through training, audits and research.
