Job summary

NHS Lothian's Community Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service invites applications for a Band 7 Advanced Practitioner in Neurodevelopment. This fixed-term post is up to 0.5 WTE until 31 March 2027, with sessions across Edinburgh bases and flexible working within the team.

You will be HCPC registered and experienced in working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental and communication needs, contributing to assessment, case management and evidence-based interventions as

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and registration in good standing.
• Experience with children and young people with neurodevelopmental and communication needs.
• Ability to contribute to case management, assessment and evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in neurodevelopmental assessments and planning.
• Deliver evidence-based SLT interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor and report on patient outcomes and service improvement.
• Support service development and CPD within the team.
