Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust has made exciting progress with their Virtual Ward, which is continuing to grow, and as a result, we are now ready to add more Pharmacists. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacist Prescriber wishing to hone their skills for managing frailty. Our Clinical Pharmacy Service is well established and provides high-quality care across a variety of specialties. Are you ready to be at the forefront of innovative service development? In this role, you will be a lead Pharmacist for the provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to the Virtual Wards. You will be embedded in the multidisciplinary team providing care to respiratory, cardiology, and frailty patients in the Virtual Wards. In addition, you will support further development of clinical and pharmaceutical pathways. We are looking for someone who has extensive clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team. You will need to have excellent communication, clinical, and negotiation skills, as well as experience of supervising other staff and providing education and training. This role offers flexibility, with the potential to work evenings and, occasionally, weekends, making it suitable for individuals seeking a role that fits around other commitments or interests.
