Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne And Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to take a dual role combining education and training with advanced clinical practice in our Community Treatment Teams to improve medicines optimisation, enhance patient safety and provide a patient-centred care via a clinical practitioner role within a community treatment team.

You will lead education across undergraduate, foundation and post-registration programmes, manage placements, deliver

Qualifications

MPharm or equivalent first degree in Pharmacy and registration with GPhC.
Postgraduate clinical qualification or evidence of portfolio working towards RPS core advanced pharmacist curriculum.
Qualified Pharmacist prescriber registered with GPhC or working towards this qualification.
Experience as a pharmacist prescriber may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Oversee education and training across undergraduate, foundation and post-registration programmes.
Manage rotational and multisector placements ensuring quality and continuity.
Lead NHSE foundation year training plan submissions and deliver learning sessions.
Support professional development for pharmacists, trainees and technicians.
Drive development of pharmacy education and training and embed staff training developments.
Provide advanced clinical pharmacy practice to a Community Treatment Team with independent prescribing where applicable.
