The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 9-5.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time 1.0 WTE Trainee ANP under annex 21 or Band 7, already qualified ANP, within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, based in the East Renfrewshire CAMHS team. Trainees will undertake a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Practice over two to three years. They must demonstrate meeting all competencies for the role through final sign-off before progressing to the fully qualified Band 7 pay scale.
The ANP manages complete clinical care for patients, utilizing expert knowledge to support multi-professional teams, ensuring high standards of care in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Council and Health and Safety legislation. As a clinical leader, the ANP has autonomy to assess, diagnose, treat (including prescribing), and refer patients, with authority to admit and discharge within appropriate clinical areas.
CAMHS provides community-based Tier 3 NHS mental health assessment and intervention, emphasizing equality, dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
Essential qualifications include being a first-level Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with current NMC registration and relevant post-registration training and experience. For Band 7 ANP, relevant qualifications are required.
