The shift pattern for this position is Mon – Friday, 9-5.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time 1.0wte trainee ANP under annex 21 or band 7 already qualified ANP position within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (GGC) based within East Renfrewshire CAMHS team. Trainees will undertake a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Practice over a two to three year period. Trainees will demonstrate they have met all the required competencies for the role through ‘final sign off’ before moving on to the fully qualified Band 7 pay. Working across role and organisational boundaries the Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) manages the complete clinical care for their patients utilising expert knowledge base and clinical competence to support multi-professional teams within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, ensuring a high standard of clinical care, in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and Health and Safety Legislation.
As a clinical leader, the ANP has the freedom and authority to act autonomously in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, including prescribing, of patients with multi-dimensional problems. This includes the authority to refer, admit and discharge within appropriate clinical areas. Please refer to the attached job description for full details. CAMHS provides community-based tier 3 NHS specialist mental health assessment and intervention based on the principles of equality, dignity and respect and which takes into account spiritual and cultural diversity.
It is essential you are a first level Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN / RNLD) with current NMC registration and substantial relevant post registration training and experienced as outlined in the attached Job Description. For band 7 ANP you must hold the relevant qualifications.
