Job summary

Operose Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to deliver high-quality primary care in St Albans. You will lead clinical assessments, diagnose, treat and evaluate care, working within the GP team to implement policies while providing leadership where needed.

Candidates should be NMC registered with advanced clinical practice, ideally pursuing non-medical prescribing.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential.
• Level 7 MSc Practitioner preferred; accreditation or MSc to ACP status may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.
