Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner for a permanent, full-time position in a primary care setting. You will be NMC registered with advanced clinical practice or working toward non-medical prescriber status, and hold a minor injury and illness qualification.

Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner accreditation is preferred. The role involves initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing evaluation, in collaboration

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber status.
• Minor injury and illness qualification.
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner or ACP accreditation in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide care from history taking to diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, evidence-based clinical decision-making and expert care.
• Collaborate with the general practice team to meet patient needs and provide nurse leadership.
