Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced nursing practice with ongoing professional development.
• Ability to prescribe from the non-medical nurse prescribers formulary in line with local and national guidance.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a comprehensive holistic assessment and liaise with other agencies as necessary.
• Use clinical examination and diagnostic skills, initiate investigations, prescribe care and treatment as appropriate.
• Promote health education and work collaboratively with other health professionals.
• Develop and maintain advanced nursing skills and prescribe safely from the nurse prescribers formulary.
• Support clinical supervision, disseminate knowledge, and contribute to training.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement within the Centre.
• Oversee day-to-day functioning of the Walk-In team and ensure service continuity.
