Job summary

Operose Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our primary care team in Witham. The role is 14 hours per week and requires Tuesday availability, with a salary up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience; location is Silver End Surgery.

You will provide patient care from history and assessment through diagnosis and treatment, working closely with the practice team to meet patient needs and uphold policy standards.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential.
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner preferred; ACP status may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet patient needs, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
