Job summary

Stuart Crescent Medical Practice is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team, and deliver high-quality care in a GP-led environment in London.

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC, hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, and have an Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification. CPD and clinical leadership experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
• Independent Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification.
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Competence in history taking, clinical assessment, and decision-making.
• Postgraduate modules in minor illness / minor injury management.
• Experience in long-term condition management (e.g., diabetes, asthma, COPD).
• Experience of working in a GP practice or primary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments per guidelines.

Main duties of the job

• Educate patients on health management, medication use, and preventive care strategies

Qualifications

Essential

• Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent qualification)
• Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300)
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
• Competence in history taking, clinical assessment, and decision-making
• Postgraduate modules in minor illness / minor injury management
• Qualification or training in long-term condition management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
• Experience or certification in primary care / GP surgery
• Teaching, mentoring, or leadership qualification
• Experience of working within a nursing team
• Experience of dealing with vulnerable patients
• Experience of working in a GP practice
