Job summary

Mount Farm Surgery is seeking an experienced emergency care practitioner or advanced clinical practitioner to join our teaching GP practice in Suffolk. This part-time role requires a minimum of 2 days per week and offers scope to develop the role with the right candidate.

You will manage face-to-face acute on-the-day patients, including telephone triage, home visits, prescribing, and medication reviews. The ideal candidate is a registered paramedic with HCPC registration, has post-registration

Qualifications

• Be a registered paramedic with HCPC registration and post-registration experience.
• Experience working independently as an ECP or ACP.
• Able and willing to undertake home visits and care home visits.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage of acute patients.
• Home visits to patients and care homes.
• Prescribing and undertaking medication reviews.
• Provide patients with information and guidance on health promotion strategies.
